let's see. i went to chicago last weekend for ratification. i had a lot of fun, i think mostly due to the fact that i didn't have to drive at all. i rode up with cj, patrick, dylan, paige and daniel in cj's volvo station wagon, hauling something like seven bicycles and we followed dottie, joey, hunter and cassi in dottie' prius carrying three bikes. in chicago, levi bought me a tattoo of tank girl on my right calf as a birthay present. picture later. i may have fractured my wrist during whiplash, cj lost an epic jousting match to his philadelphian evil-twin also named cj, and i accidentally got rob's bitchin' pixie bike stolen by a small black child at the messenger races in garfield park. it was an exciting weekend.

so i applied online at vanderbilt university for a variety of service jobs on and around campus. stuff like cook's assistant, dining room services, and i put in one application for librarian because i miss working with books. hopefully they'll call me. it would be full time hours and they don't appear to pay anything less than $9.25/hr so i really really really hope they call.

i found $10 on the ground last night outside the kwik sak. bikes are $10 at the goodwill downtown. i took this as a sign, so i think i'm gonna head over there and see what they have in the way of bikes. also, i need to mail the rent seeing as how it's like, three days overdue now. all my fault. oh geez.

OH MY GOD i'll be 21 in like, two days.
